Safety & Compliance
Safety First at White Knight
At White Knight, safety is an important part of every job we undertake.
Steve has an Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety, together with extensive training and experience in working safely around residential, commercial and strata properties.
We understand that professional cleaning isn’t simply about achieving a great result. Work must also be planned and carried out safely, particularly when working at height or around other people, vehicles and property.
Training, Licences & Insurance
White Knight maintains relevant training, licences and insurance for the work we undertake, including:
Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety
Public Liability Insurance
Elevated Work Platform training/licensing
Working at Heights training
Advanced Rigging
White Card
Confined Space Entry training
Crane and Manitou licensing
Specific licences, qualifications and equipment are used where applicable to the requirements of the job.
Safe Work Practices
Before commencing work, we consider the property, access requirements, working environment and potential hazards associated with the job.
Where required, we can provide appropriate safety documentation such as:
Risk Assessments
Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
We can also work within the safety procedures and site requirements of commercial clients, strata managers, facilities management companies and other organisations.
Where a site induction is required, we’re happy to complete the relevant induction process before commencing work.
Working Safely at Height
Window cleaning and exterior cleaning can involve working at height and accessing difficult areas.
We use appropriate equipment and safe work practices for the conditions and requirements of each job.
Our aim is to complete every job efficiently while protecting our team, our customers, members of the public and the property we’re working on.
Safety for Commercial & Strata Clients
For commercial and strata properties, safety and documentation can be just as important as the quality of the finished work.
We understand that building managers, strata managers, facilities smanagers and businesses may require contractors to meet specific workplace safety requirements before work begins.
White Knight can work with your existing site procedures and provide relevant documentation where required.
Peace of Mind
When you engage White Knight, you can have confidence that safety is treated as an important part of the job from the initial assessment through to completion.
We communicate with our clients throughout the process and take the time to identify potential issues before work begins.
Safety isn’t an afterthought — it’s part of the way we work.
